What is LDC?
The American Red Cross Northern California Coastal Region is hosting our annual Leadership Development Center (LDC). Aimed at students ages 13-18 years old, LDC is an in-person summer camp where youth learn about the Red Cross mission & how they can be involved in serving their communities, valuable professional development skills, and plenty of the fun aspects of going to summer camp! LDC provides great opportunities for youth to become leaders in their school and local communities. Check out our website for more information: click here
A few of our 2024 Leadership Development Center Session highlights include:
· Team Building
· Public Speaking
· Diversity & Inclusion Sessions
· Disaster and Emergency Preparedness
· International Humanitarian Law
Through these hands-on and interactive activities, students will walk away feeling empowered to serve their local communities. They will also have the chance to build their confidence and create long-lasting friendships. No previous Red Cross experience is necessary to sign up for LDC.
When is 2024 LDC?
2024 LDC is Monday June 24-Thursday June 27, 2024, at Redwood Glen Camp in Loma Mar, CA.
How much does it cost to attend LDC?
