GLOW: Peer Health Education
Asian Health Services is looking for youth 13-24 years old who are interested in teaching their peers in health education - our program, GLOW, is a youth led set of workshops that teaches about HIV, hepatitis, and substance use. Leaders will go through 3 surveys, 2 days of training, and teach at least 1 workshop. If you have students who are interested in the fields of public health or medicine, this opportunity if for them! The program is short and low commitment, and they receive $150 compensation via gift cards!
Students can sign up for our programs at: tinyurl.com/RegisterAHSYP If there are any questions regarding the programs, please feel free to send me an email. I have also included the social media flyer set we used in case you would like to share it with your institution/organization/network (the Upgrade U Zoom Meeting IDs are included on them). Thank you in advance for sharing the opportunity! Please feel free to contact me if there is anything I can do to support your programs and events in the future. In Community, Danielle Miguel She/Her
