Bishop O'Dowd High School's student social justice leaders, Solidarity in Action, along with other Bay Area high school students, are hosting the 5th annual Bay Area Teach-in for Justice, a forum to discuss the injustices that we all see in our world today. Social justice advocates and experts will educate, inspire, and motivate participants with three primary areas of focus: environmental justice, racial justice, and law and policy. The day will culminate with a ceremonial tree-planting in our four-acre living lab with Lead2Life, an Oakland-based justice organization transforming firearms into shovels in the spirit of "swords into ploughshares."
