The San Francisco Historical Society (www.sfhistory.org) is excited to announce our Fifth Annual Fracchia Prize for original research and writing about San Francisco history.
This year’s topic is how remarkable San Francisco women have helped to shape the city over time:
Shine a Light on San Francisco’s Leading Ladies- Movers, Shakers and Change-Makers
Students who submit the three winning entries receive cash prizes ($2,500; $1,500; $1,000) and their work published in one of SFHS’s two history journals- Panorama or The Argonaut.
