My name is Madeleine Fernando, one of the mentee recruiting leads for Minds Matter Bay Area (MMBay). We are an education nonprofit focused on providing high-achieving, low-income SFUSD students with three years of completely FREE college prep (including two dedicated mentors, funding for pre-college summer programs, SAT prep, and more). We're proud to report 100% of our MMBay alumni have been accepted to 4-year colleges (including highly selective schools like Harvard University, Stanford University, UCLA, UC Berkeley and others) and 97% are on track to graduate from college within four years.
