Due to the recent spate of criminal activities targeting the vulnerable population in San Francisco, The CCSJ (Coalition for Community Safety and Justice Program) would like to introduce the “Community Empowerment Training” with the following objectives:
1. Avoid becoming victims on the street and public transportation
2. Protect yourself in threatening situations (De-escalation skills)
3. Intervene effectively as a bystander without compromising your safety
At the end of the training, participants will receive a free gift, including a fanny pack, a whistle, a flashlight, an alarm key, and an emergency card.
