Celebrate Juneteenth with a special jazz event at the Golden Gate Bandshell, June 17 and 18. First, Illuminate presents Victor Wooten & the Wooten Brothers on June 17 at 5 p.m. Then, on June 18, from noon to 4 p.m., the Fillmore Jazz Ambassadors presents an Evolution of America Thru Jazz, featuring a series of renowned local performers, including the John Coltrane Church Jazz Ensemble, Lady Bianca, the Charles Unger Experience, and more! These events are part of "Lift Every Voice," a series of free concerts hosted by Illuminate and the San Francisco Parks Alliance, in partnership with SF Rec and Park.
