Just Mercy: A True Story of the Fight for Justice, A Conversation with Anthony Ray Hinton Monday, April 26, 2021 8:00 AM PST Join us for a conversation with Anthony Ray Hinton, author and Community Educator for the Equal Justice Initiative. Mr. Hinton was wrongly convicted of two murders and spent nearly 30 years on Alabama’s death row before he was exonerated in 2015. Mr. Hinton’s story is told in Bryan Stevenson’s memoir, Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption, and in his own bestselling memoir, The Sun Does Shine: How I Found Life and Freedom on Death Row. Mr. Hinton will lead a discussion about his own experiences and the continued fight for justice in America, followed by a Q&A. Please note: This event is for teachers and their students.
