LWHS Hyphen-Hacks | Apply & Volunteer

Hyphen-Hacks is a free 24-hour hackathon for high school students from around the Bay Area. It's hosted at Lick-Wilmerding High School on the weekend of October 12th and 13th. We're putting a big focus on being friendly to beginners—it's our goal that even students with no programming experience whatsoever can come to Hyphen-Hacks and have a great time while learning about the field.

We are looking for mentors, judges, and volunteers. Mentors would circulate around the workspaces, helping attendees work on their projects. Judges will evaluate the projects based on specific criteria at the end of the event and determine which receive awards. Volunteers will help with various tasks, depending on the time they come. Those could include setting up meals and putting everything away after the event.

If you are a high school student, and interested in attending, apply here.
