DCYF, the SF Recreation & Parks Department, and Livable City will host a series of Summer Resource Fairs in the spring of 2020. The Summer Resource Fairs are fun, FREE events that connect San Francisco’s children, youth, and families with summer programs, camps, classes, and other services. The goal of the Summer Resource Fairs is to ensure children and youth - particularly from working families - will have enriching, safe, and fun activities to participate in during the months school is not in session.
The 2020 Summer Resource Fair series will launch next week at the Citywide Summer Resource Fair, which will take place on Saturday, February 8 from 11am to 2pm at the County Fair Building in Golden Gate Park (1199 9th Avenue). The Citywide Fair will feature over 125 exhibitors from a wide variety of organizations that provide summer programming and other services for children, youth, and families. Many of the summer programs featured at the Summer Resource Fair are free, low cost, or offer financial aid, and many of them will enroll participants on the spot.
Following the Citywide Summer Resource Fair, DCYF and our partners will host Pop-Up Resource Fairs throughout the City from February to May. A list of all of the Summer Resource Fairs is below, and more information about the entire series is available on the Summer Resource Fair page of the DCYF website.
We hope to see you and yours in the community this spring!
