The high school leaders will experience youth work firsthand as well as leadership development, and practice their skills in a safe environment. They gain a sense of self and confidence in leadership, time and project management, leading activities (games, songs, and crafts for 1st-8th graders), and learning how to communicate and work as a team. We've seen firsthand how these are valuable experiences that nurture growth and maturity. This program can be included in college applications and job resumes. It also fulfills any school service/volunteer hour requirements.
